STRALA TI

Project Description & Roles

As a tech start-up in Silicon Slopes Strala wanted to create an office space that would be fun and inviting to both they employees and clients. The office consists of and open layout for all employees including the leadership with many collaborative rooms for meetings, scrums, and even large trainings.

The company's brand and logo has a very 1980s theme which was embraced throughout their interior architecture and design. The carpet layout matches the same 66 degree angle as their logo. The neon-like purples and magentas where also a key driver behind the design of their new corporate office.

Zach's roles in this project included all stages of the tenant improvement design process. Steps included programing meetings with leadership and key department managers to access current work flows and needs for improvement, schematic layouts using Revit and CET Designer, deign development via material samples, 3D line-drawing models, and colorized floorplans, construction documentation for permits and bids, and lastly construction administration throughout by reviewing submittals, attending weekly OAC meetings, and participating in punch list walks.
